AMUR LODGE

Khangai a region located in the Khentii Province of Mongolia, is home to the birthplace of the great leader, Genghis Khan. This area, which was established as Dadal in 1923, is rich in biodiversity and an important ecological hub in the southern Siberian taiga. The Onon-Balj complex, which stretches across the Bayan-Uul district of Dornod and the Dadal, Bayan-Adraga, Norovlin, and Binder districts of Khentii, is vital for the protection of the Onon River and its watershed. The region's ecosystems—comprising forest steppes, fresh water reserves, and diverse landscapes—are key for maintaining biodiversity. The area also plays a crucial role in the sustainable development of tourism, involving local communities in conservation efforts, which will help ensure regional stability and growth.

Located in the Onon-Balj National Park, Amur Lodge is situated near three lakes surrounded by picturesque pine forests in Dadal soum.
